What happens when a CAL SEMS drug tech comes to an “on-site” test? We will professionally collect a urine specimen from the employee , do a preliminary instant drug test (takes minutes), and then send all contested, positive drug tests to MRO / Lab.
Final results will be given to you within 24-72 hours (depending if medications are involved).

According to FS 440.102 Insurance Companies do not have to provide 5% reduction on workers compensation for on site testing.

Urine collections done with or without breath alcohol testing. DOT Federal and private panels done using cu California S.E.MS lab's and MRO. Programs may be managed by existing consortiums. Collections include pre-employment, post accident, reasonable cause and random selections.

Immediate Result Drug Testing:
Urine analysis for drug screening done on site with results available in 5 – 10 minutes. Standard test is 5-panel. But 5 and 10 panel are available also.
Drug tests sent out for MRO ( Medical Review Officer ) analysis have a 24 - 48 hr turn around time.

We can provide a online course ( complete with certificate ) that can be used to identify potential persons under the influence, this is most helpful to security guards and on site safety personnel.
